This summer I had the pleasure of photographing two of my very dear friend’s wedding at the beautiful Mishawaka Amphitheater in Bellevue, CO. Although it stormed and hailed like crazy just an hour before the start of the ceremony, everything turned out great in the end. The event planner at the Mish was so nice and accommodating, she did everything she could to make the day go smooth in spite of the unpredictable Colorado weather. Everyone outside the bridal suite (which was actually the room the bands that play get ready for a show in) were on top of it. They got the arch moved inside which was no easy feat due to the size of it. They got all the decorations moved so nothing got damaged by the hail. It was really great to see everyone out there working together to keep the wedding on schedule and running smooth. The ceremony got moved indoors but everyone just rolled with the punches and it turned out just fine. The storm passed us over and after the ceremony, everyone moved outside to enjoy the cooler weather, the river, and the mountain view from the Mishawaka.
